The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins is the first book I've read in a long time that I would call a 'page turner.' There wasn't a dull moment. The characters were deeply flawed and deeply human. This story left me feeling like I knew them all. The wrap-up of this book felt satisfying but heavy, in a way that showed how much work went into crafting it.
