I Know Where She Is
I Know Where She Is is fast paced and shocking. It reads like a short story, but with a lot more unexpected turns. Like a lot of current books in this genre, the story follows a drunken woman bent on discovering an agonizing truth, but her character stands in opposition to that of her ex-husband, whose motives seem much different than her own. I think a little more inner dialogue would bring the characters' emotions to the forefront, but I like their purpose driven nature.
The satisfyingly fast pace of I Know Where She Is is perfect for someone with a busy schedule, because it has a momentum that carries forward well, even in short reading bursts. This is definitely one to get you out of those dreaded reading slumps!
