Midnight Sun

Ulf is on the run. Of course, that isn't his real name. He's fleeing the henchmen of his former drug lord boss, the Fisherman.
Hiding in Kåsund, so far north that the sun never sets, Ulf meets a small group of Sami villagers who adhere to their strict faith. Here he is aided and befriended by a boy named Knut and his widowed mother, Lea.
As the story unfolds you discover the heartbreak that each character has lived through, and what has led them to their current circumstances, all the while hoping that they'll have an opportunity for something better in life.
This book was amazing! I finished it in one morning, and it left me with a renewed excitement for reading.
